Avocado Lime Ranch dressing is one of the primary driving forces of our frequent visits to Chick-fil-a. I am straight up addicted to the tangy lime infused avocado ranch. I get it as my dressing on their salads, but also squeeze it onto the wrap they have too. My daughter is keen on the chicken strips and waffle fries, so we are there a lot... except of course on Sundays.
This is my very favorite of chick fil a salad dressings and makes a great dipping sauce too!

Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing
I created this knock off of the Chick-fil-a avocado lime ranch salad dressing recipe to quell my cravings on Sundays or when the weather is bad. Due to this mild obsession, I found myself with a packet of the bona fide stuff, taste testing to compare as I adjusted the dressing recipe. This is about as close as you are going to get with typical kitchen ingredients.
Now we have one less thing to miss when the Chick-fil-a restaurants are closed on Sunday.
Rather than the standard sour cream many use in similar dressings, mayo was a better match. I've used Greek yogurt in another version and while yummy and better nutritionally, it lacked the texture and creaminess of this recipe.

Ideally, chill the dressing for half an hour or more before serving, but if you want to dig right in... go for it.
Serving the Avocado Ranch
While it is of course great as a dressing as shown above, this is a nice thick dressing that works great as a spread on sandwiches and wraps. It is a fabulous veggie dip and I enjoy it on grilled meats and even a dollop on a burrito. Try drizzling some over Blackened Chicken or my Spanish Cauliflower Rice... oh yeah!
Is Avocado Lime Ranch Keto?
Yes, the recipe is keto compliant a two tablespoon serving of the salad dressing has just 2 net carbs. Based on using my homemade ranch seasoning mix. It may be slightly more, if you use a store bought packet.

Storing the Dressing
Store the homemade salad dressing in an airtight container. A mason jar works perfectly.
The lime, salt, and vinegar in the dressing will keep it from discoloring, at least for a couple days. I would not keep this dressing more than a few days though, even refrigerated. There are no preservatives to block bacterial growth.
