Dinner Recipes, Seafood Recipes
You will love this Baked Parmesan Garlic Colossal Shrimp recipe! This is one of my family’s favorite meals that take about 30 minutes to prepare and tastes better than at most restaurants!
Not to brag, but if we want to eat Fancy – we eat at HOME!
This was our Tuesday’s dinner, no special occasion, no holiday, kinda felt guilty eating it.
But, it just happened that we bought these INCREDIBLE– COLOSSAL SHRIMP on sale at The Fresh Market just a couple of days ago.
Never in our life have we ever had shrimp this size! WOW!
They are literally the size of little Lobsters and are Very Meaty!
But, I couldn’t get a good picture to show their true size. We bought 2 pounds and got just 10 shrimp, so you know they are HUGE!
You can make Zoodles (zucchini noodles) instead of pasta or rice for a Healthier option.
Here you can see how truly COLOSSAL these shrimp are comparing to large shrimp on the left side.
It was such a Great Deal that we couldn’t pass by. Unfortunately for two pounds you only get 10 of these.
Can you imagine how expensive these shrimp would be if you ordered them at the restaurant???
How to prepare Baked Parmesan Garlic Shrimp:
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, wine, lemon juice, and garlic powder.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet and brush or dip the shrimp into the butter mix.
- Sprinkle shrimp with paprika, dry parsley, and parmesan.
- Arrange veggies and lemon slices around shrimp.
- Bake in the Preheated at 400°F oven for about 10 – 15 minutes (depending on your oven).
I didn’t peel them this time since I was Lazy and the shrimp look Beautiful unpeeled! I do suggest peeling them first if you have the time and the patience!
You can roast veggies at the same time as the shrimp on the second shelf in your oven.
Veggies need to be roasted longer about 20 at 400F.
I’ve decided to serve these Colossal Shrimpwith an equally delicious Near East® Garlic & Herbs Pilaf Mix!
If you find this brand in your local supermarket, try it.
Their flavored Couscous is AMAZING!
When you have guests over and you want to make something special without too much work involved – this is IT!!!
And, we had a repeat of this Delishesness!
This time served with my EASY FRIED RICE recipe!
Doesn’t this Baked Parmesan Garlic Colossal Shrimp look absolutely Delicious???
I get hungry just by looking at it!
I hope you guys enjoy this Baked Parmesan Garlic Colossal Shrimp recipe.
Let me know if you try it!

Do you unthaw the shrimp first? i brought some from walmart frozen section
Crafty Cooking by Anna August 31, 2022 at 4:17 am Reply
Yes, make sure to thaw shrimp before cooking and wipe them dry. There are several methods to do this, put it in the refrigerator a day before, or submerge the entire (unopened) bag of frozen shrimp into a bowl of cold water.

Did Christmas Eve surf and turf, with tenderloin steak and colossal shrimp. This was the best recipe to have stumbled onto, it made our meal delicious. Fantastic!

The colossal garlic shrimp was a hit with my husband. We served it with cheesy rice and a side of broccoli.
Next time I may add a bit of red pepper flakes for a bit of bite. Thanks.Crafty Cooking by Anna July 28, 2020 at 3:30 am Reply
