When you make these mashed potato bites you will be surprised at how fast they disappear. If you find that you have extras and need to store them to eat them another day, you will want to store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can also store them in a freezer bag.

Can These Mashed Potatoes Be Frozen

Whenever I have more mashed potato bites than we will eat before they go bad, I like to put them in the freezer. By storing them in the freezer, I can have mashed potato bites whenever I have a craving. And believe me, these are so good, the cravings will come often.

How to Reheat the Potato Bites

When you are ready to reheat these Loaded Mashed Potato Bites, you will need to remove them from the refrigerator or the freezer. If they are frozen, let them thaw completely.

Place them in a heated 400 degree oven and reheat the bites until they are warmed all the way through. You can also spray them with a little baking spray in order to help them get the crispiness they had after they are fried.

How Long Do Mashed Potato Bites Last

When you store the mashed potato bites properly, they will last for about 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator. If you are using leftover mashed potatoes, you will want to count the time from when the mashed potatoes were made in how old the bites are. You can always move the mashed potato bites to the freezer if you will not eat them before they go bad.

Can these be cooked in an air-fryer? What would you recommend doing different, if so?

    • Loaded Mashed Potato Bites (18)Great Grub, Delicious Treats

Hi Brooke, yes you can. I have never cooked them in the air fryer but my suggestion is to line the fryer basket with foil. Add some of the potato bites, spray a little oil over the bites, and air fry at 380° for about 4 minutes. Shake the basket and spray again with more oil and then continue to air fry until the outside is golden brown and crispy, about 4 more minutes.
