My partner has anxiety, depression, has physical disabilities and is a hoarder, I usually need to nag him to do some cleaning and washing daily. I went abroad to see my family, for three weeks, and when I was back the house was immaculate apart from a t-shirt hanging on the living room door to dry. Even if he let it grow to a tip until day 20, he was adult enough to clean everything. What this poor lady has is a man baby that doesn't deserve her or the kids, throw him out and teach the kids a valuable life lesson!

It’s not incompetence at all. It’s aggressive & abusive retaliation for her going out of town. He knew she was going and maybe even encouraged her to take a break. He’s punishing her for it. He’s teaching her what he’ll do if she ever steps out of line again. It’s way beyond incompetence or passive-aggressive.

Shove all his stuff in plastic bags, take it outside. Change locks, clean, be happy. What an A hole. If you don't want to kick him out: NEVER cook for him, don't wash his clothes.
