Self storage for personal and household belongings
Self storage units offer a flexible, affordable way to store excess household or personal belongings that you just don’t have room for at home. At MijnSafestore we have secure, indoor self storage units in lots of different sizes, from lockers to warehouse-sized rooms, in Amsterdam and Haarlem. You can rent a unit with us for a minimum of two weeks or for as long as you need, at a low, weekly price.

Self storage units are ideal for safely storing household items that clutter up your home or take up valuable space in your house. You probably own items that you only use seasonally or occasionally, such as:
- Christmas decorations
- Camping gear
- Sporting equipment
- Bulky winter clothing and coats
These can be put into your storage unit until you need them - and you can take them out whenever you like. Our stores have long, convenient opening hours and you can visit your unit at any time when we’re open.
If you’re a student, you can store your belongings with us during the holidays. They’ll be safer with us than in your empty student accommodation, and your parents won’t have to find room at home to fit everything back in when you visit!

Perhaps you’re moving in with your partner and have spare or duplicate items that won’t all fit into one home; perhaps you’ve inherited some items from a loved one but don’t have space to accommodate them yet. Or maybe you’re moving home and need somewhere to store all of your contents until your new house is decorated and ready for you to move in.
If you have excess household furniture and furnishings for any reason, these can be stored in our clean, dry self storage units until you find space for them at home.
You can also use your self storage unit to keep your household goods safe and clean during redecoration or refurbishments at home.

If you need packaging materials we have these available in store to purchase, and our friendly team are on hand to help with any queries you have. Our units are highly secure, fitted with motion detectors and linked to our alarm system and emergency response centre, and you’ll be the only person who is able to enter your unit.
You can increase or decrease the size of your unit, stay for just 2 weeks initially and increase the length of your stay at any point. There are no hidden fees or penalties, just a single, low, weekly cost to rent a self storage unit with us for however long you need.
