Ranch House Crock Pot Pork Chops are so simple to prepare and packed full of flavor. Serve with mashed potatoes for the ultimate dinner!
Dearest Crock Pot,
Oh how I love thee. When I am not in the mood to dirty 5 pans, or even be in my kitchen for more than 5 minutes, you really come in handy. Thank you for making my life a little bit easier at times. How can I ever repay you?
Yours Truly,
Holly đ
Now to the rest of you⊠This is a delicious and easy meal to make your family! Sometimes my little family gets bored of eating chicken all the time, so this dish is a great alternative.
This pork has tons of flavor, and as it slowly cooks it turns the soup and ranch seasoning into an amazing gravy for the pork chops. This is a new family favorite for sure!

- 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing/ seasoning mix

Wow! This is what was already on my menu for tonight, too â minus the ranch mix. May have to throw that in. I like to throw in quartered potatoes, also. Yum!

I made this a few weeks ago and thought it was way too salty. Do you know of an alternative to the ranch powder?
Reply
I am going to make mine with a package of onion soup mixâŠ..also adding 2 packages of dried pork fravy mix and 3 cups chicken broth for lots of gravyâŠ.

A tip I read on another site was to put some cut up potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker and they will absorb some of the extra salt. Worth trying!

I use low sodium soup. I also use cream of mushroom. You can use cream of celery too. Also can make this with boneless chicken. Always use low sodium soup.

Hi April. Sorry to hear it was too salty for you đ I honestly dont know what another alternative would be instead of the ranch. We really enjoyed this and didnt think it was too salty, but I guess everyone has different taste buds.

Do you add water at all?

Iâm super sensitive to the salt! I donât even like Chick fil A anymore because the breading is too salty! Itâs very sad, I know! đ

Try making your own condensed cram of chicken soup. This way you can cut out quite a bit of salt. I used this recipe: 2.5 cups chicken broth, 1.5 cups 2% milk, 3/4 cups flour, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt (optional). Boil chicken broth and 1/2 cup milk. In a bowl mix all dry ingredients and remaining milk. Whisk into boiling chicken broth until thickened. Use right away in your recipe. This is what I used and mine came out amazing.

Holly, what size of crock pot do you normally use? These looks great!

Iâve made this recipe a few times, itâs simple & tasty. I made it today, but I only had 2 cream of mushroom soups, not worried about that, Iâm sure it will still be tasty.
I didnât realize until I had already dumped it in the crock was that I was using the DIP Hidden Valley instead of the dressing. I hope itâs still ok.
I cook mine in a round crock pot & can never get a chop out whole, is there some trick to this that I donât know?

Did it turn out using the DIP hidden valley?

Hooray for simplicity! Will be trying this.
BTW, for the salt-sensitive folk, you can buy low-sodium cream of chicken. Might be a good option. You can also make your own ranch mix, but that takes the easy out of it . . .

I made this today and it was great. So simple. If I wanted to use chicken breast instead of pork chops could I ? and would the cook time be the same or less ?
Reply
Yes you can use chicken also.

I make this with boneless skinless chicken thighs. The meat falls apart and it is great over mashed potatoes, toast, and rice. Porkchops are next though

Is this low carb or just an easy good meal? I am asking because it showed up in my search for low carb crock pot recipes search. I wouldnât care but I am a recently new dietetic and I have to be careful what I eat

I made this tonight and it was delish! I used 2 packets of the ranch seasoning. I seasoned the chop with a little accent and pepper, and also put a tad of the ranch seasoning on each chop. I mixed the ranch seasoning with the soups before putting in the crockpot. I also added a small pat of butter on top of each chop before covering with soup mix. I cooked it on low and it only took about 3 1/2 hrs. They were so good and so moist. Almost fell apart when cutting into them. I will definitely make this again!

I made these pork chops for a quick night meal! Wow, these pork chops turned out to be so tender that I could cut them up with my fork. I left these in the crockpot to stay warm after they were done cooking till I got home. I served these with some brown rice YUM!!

DE-LI-CIOUS!!!!!! So super easy and so super yummy!!!! Thank you for this keeper!!!

Would it be okay to brown the pork chops with a little butter before I place them in the crock pot?

Porkchops came out great. Extremely easy to make. We like rice at my house so we had ours on rice instead of mashed potatoes. Dinner was awesome. Thanks for the recipe!

I love this recipe. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for substituting the pork chops for boneless skinless chicken BREAST? (Thatâs all I have available for dinner tomorrow.) WOULD I change the temperature and/or cooking time?Reply
Hi Cassandra, yes you can definitely use chicken instead of pork chops. Boneless chicken cooks pretty fast in slow cookers in my experience. Over the years I have realized that, so if I were to do this now with chicken I would cook it on low heat for only 3 to 4 hours.

This was awesome! Can wait to try more of your recipes!Reply
This recipe is great. I fix it for church meals and family. everyone loves it. I serve it with mashed potatoes, green beans and a salad. A fruit salad for dessert. easy and quick.Reply

Way Too salty â and i love salt! Next time Iâll reduce the ranch packet or leave it out completely & just add my own spices.
