Major job and life milestones for me.After a culmination of hard work, sacrifices, fun times, and choices made over the last 15 years, I am excited to share the following milestones and the new chapter ahead:1) A few days ago, I was promoted to Manager at Deloitte. Many people I know may feel this was a natural step for me. Fewer people actually know the steep self-improvement and evolution that started way before Deloitte, before any consulting career. I am grateful for my colleagues who have pushed me to forge and sharpen the young M&A professional I have become. As always, many people were part of that journey. I owe part of the good things that have come to the following friends and colleagues: Wils Theagene, B.Eng,Msc, André Gareau, Marc O Girard, and Cathal O'Neill, Jason Le Heup, Hassan Kheidri, B.Eng, PMP, MBA, Christian Kittleson, Gérald Faustino, and more.2) Becoming Canadian after 13 years spent in Montréal, I am leaving the province of Québec to start a new life with my family in Vancouver, British Columbia, still with #onedeloitte. The bond is strong with Montreal, and I will continue to strengthen it. I will miss running into Axel Dassi, Martin Franco CPA, CIRP, SAI, Geneviève Provost and Francois Huvelin, who were always ready for some open and fun conversations in the office. 3) I have therefore not renewed my mandate as President of the Chambre de Commerce Canado-Suisse (Québec). I had the immense opportunity to lead a group of exceptional people during the pandemic, which wouldn't have been possible without the trust and guidance of Marie Habre, who saw something in me as I transitioned out of my Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA job and then during my first 2 years on the Board. I am honored to have worked alongside Bruno Tontodonati, Christian Wopperer, Sylvain Racine, Alejandro (Alex) Suter on the executive committee, and all other board members.I am currently enjoying some quality time with my family, wife, and daughter. I look forward to creating more value and meshing people across the continent and beyond when back on August 15, in Vancouver.À bientôt! 🇨🇦🇨🇭🇫🇷
